Noise Frame

Open a new image

Set your foreground colour to #fbc3c0 and your background colour box to Null

Add a new raster layer

Click on your Tube Tool and choose the teddy bear tube. Set the scale to 40

Click on your new image

Select your Preset Shapes tool

Use the settings in the screenshot:

Draw a frame around your teddy, leaving room to add your text

Add a new raster layer

Go to your layer palette and click on Raster 3 to make it the selected layer. Use your magic wand tool to click in the centre of the frame. Go to Selections > Modify > Expand and expand the selection by 2 pixels.

Set your foreground colour box to #dc8786. Click on layer 4 to select it and flood fill the selection

Drag layer 4 below layer 2

This is what you should now have

Go to Effects > Plugins > Fantastic Machines > Paint Engine and use the settings as in the screenshot.

Add a new raster layer

Set your foreground colour box to #f1e8c5

Click on your text tool and use the settings as in the screenshot

Click on your canvas and type in your text when the text entry box opens. Move the text into position.

Add an inner bevel using the settings in the screenshot

Add a drop shadow using the settings in the screenshot

Click on Raster 3 (this should be your frame layer) and add the same inner bevel to the frame.

Click on raster 2 and add the same drop shadow to the teddy bear tube.

Go to your layer palette and rename raster 4 - background

Rename raster 2 - teddy

Rename raster 3 - frame

Rename raster 5 - text

Right click on background and duplicate the layer 3 times so you have 4 background layers. Repeat with the teddy layer, frame layer and text layer.

We don't need raster 1 so right click on it and delete it. Arrange your layers as in the screenshot. Click on the bottom frame layer and go to Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise. Make sure Uniform and monochrome are selected and add 40% noise.

Click on the next frame layer and add 50% noise

Click on the next frame layer and 60% noise

Click on the last frame layer and add 70% noise

Turn off the visibility of all layers except the bottom 4. Right click on the background layer and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the next 4 layers. Right click on copy of background and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the next 4 layers. Right click on copy of background and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn off the newly merged layer and turn on the last 4 layers. Right click on copy of background and go to Merge > Merge Visible.

Turn on all layers

This is what you should have.

Click on your crop tool and click on Snap Crop Rectangle to Layer Opaque. The area around your sig will be greyed out. Click on the tick. This will get rid of the excess canvas.

Save as a .pspimage

Open in Animation Shop, save as a .gif and you're done!
